My favorite thing about these 3-way speakers is how authoritative they are for such a small package. They are not the last word on bass production, but they are incredible in the whole span of the midrange, where most of your music resides. I also love the curved baffle, and they look handsome without the grilles.
I love Yamaha gear, but these don't see enough use. They deserve to be a main / secondary system driver that sees regular use. These would be great for upgrading a starter system, building a really great starter system, building a secondary system, or for a Yamaha collector.
Condition: 7/10. These are completely unmolested outside and inside. The veneer is still deep, black, and shiny. No corrosion on the driver baffles. There is some minor veneer lift, but only at the rear corners -- one spot per speaker. Totally invisible from seated distance. There's also a very small tear on one of the speaker grilles. I have tried to represent all of these in pictures.
OPTIONAL: The speaker stands are completely optional, but they are perfect for these speakers, or any other speakers you may have or wish to own in the future. Width, tilt, and pitch are all adjustable, making this a very versatile piece of audio furniture. Good vintage condition.
I would prefer a package sale of both the stands and the speakers. Please inquire about a package price.
