This vintage folding side table blends Hollywood Regency glamour with a quietly exotic silhouette, pairing a warm mahogany frame with a removable brass tray top for a look that feels both refined and versatile. Its sculptural crossed base and brass-capped feet give it an elegant sense of movement, while the tray’s engraved surface adds just the right amount of decorative texture. Compact yet full of presence, it works beautifully as a side table, cocktail stand, or accent piece in layered interiors. The folding form also makes it especially practical, allowing it to be moved or stored with ease when needed. Retaining its original vintage condition, it carries the kind of mellow patina and character that only time can create.
Fun Historical Fact
During the 1960s and 1970s, Hollywood Regency interiors embraced a love of dramatic contrasts, mixing polished brass, faux bamboo, lacquer, and exotic influences to create rooms that felt glamorous, collected, and theatrical. Folding tray tables like this fit perfectly into that lifestyle, offering a stylish surface that could easily move wherever the party went.
