Takara is searching for the right vocalist to become part of the next chapter of the band.
We’re looking for a powerful, soulful, gritty and emotionally expressive vocalist with a soaring range and the personality to take Takara’s music somewhere special.
This isn’t simply a search for someone to sing existing songs.
We’re looking for a true creative partner — someone who wants to write, develop and craft songs together, contribute melodies, lyrics and ideas, and bring their own identity to the music.
What we’re looking for:
• A soulful, gritty voice with a strong emotional connection
• A soaring, powerful range and the ability to move comfortably through different dynamics
• A distinctive vocal character — we’re not looking for a generic “rock voice”
• The ability to deliver both raw intensity and vulnerable, emotional performances
• Strong melodic instincts and a natural sense of phrasing
• A songwriter who can contribute lyrics, melodies and vocal arrangements
• Someone who enjoys collaborating and developing songs from the ground up
• A professional attitude, commitment and desire to build something lasting
• Stage presence and the ability to connect with an audience
• A vocalist who understands that great songs come first, but great performances give those songs their identity
