This is a distinctive piece of modern furniture that works equally well as a credenza, bookcase, display shelving, room divider, or — with the original glass top — a table/surface.
This configuration includes

About the design
BOLLA was created by designer David Winston as a unique alternative to traditional shelving. Its sculptural form uses an ingenious combination of geometry and physics: the inner panels coil inward and natural compressive force holds the shelving system together without tools.
The system is modular, with adjustable/repositionable shelves and accessories that allow different configurations. BOLLA is designed to work as both a storage system and room divider and is double-sided.

• Ultra-thin, high-impact flexible plastic tubes
• Wood composite panels with GREENGUARD-certified laminate
• Lightweight white metal shelving
• Original 3/8" tempered glass top
Condition
The piece is in excellent condition with no damage.
Because it is about 12 years old, the exterior surfaces of the white tubes have some cosmetic yellowing from sun exposure. They are replaceable, just in case at $60 each (https://scale1to1.com/products/bolla-coil-shelving). The interiors remain very white. I have photographed this condition so there are no surprises.
Current replacement-value reference
The current SCALE 1:1 website lists the BOLLA 4 at $1,910 on sale ($2,546 regular).
The manufacturer's published BOLLA price guide lists:
• 4 additional shelves: $484
• Standard Glass Top: $1,071
That puts the combination of the current BOLLA 4 sale price + four additional shelves + Standard Glass Top at $3,465, before tax/shipping.
I'm asking $950 for this complete configuration.
