Job Responsibilities

As a Sample Library Associate, you will help maintain the company's sample inventory by:

• Scanning sample inventory into the system
• Documenting inventory accurately
• Sorting and organizing apparel samples
• Filing and maintaining inventory records
• Keeping the sample library clean and organized
• Assisting with additional inventory and administrative tasks as assigned
• Working closely with your team and following direction from supervisors

Qualifications

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Must be able to arrive to work on time every day

Must be able to commit to the Monday-Friday schedule

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable working in a team environment

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization

Dress Code

This position is located in a corporate office environment, so employees are expected to maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Required:

• Clean, professional clothing
• Solid-colored pants (slacks, khakis, or other professional pants)
• Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes
• Not Permitted:
• Sweatpants
• Leggings
• Clothing with offensive words or graphics
• Open-toe shoes
• Open-back shoes
• Excessively ripped or unprofessional clothing

First Day Instructions

Please arrive 15 minutes early on your first day.

Parking is available on nearby streets and parking lots; however, lots fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early.

Enter through the side entrance by the loading docks.

Check in with Security upon arrival.

Ask for your manager.

You will receive your employee badge on your first day.

Your badge must be worn at all times while inside the facility and used to scan in and out of the building.

Attendance Expectations

Dependability is essential for success in this role.

If you:

• Are running late
• Need to call out sick
• Need to request time off
• You must notify both Bluecrew and your direct manager at FN Logistics as soon as possible.
• Please do not accept this assignment if you cannot consistently arrive on time or commit to the scheduled workdays.

General responsibilities when working a Retail job assignment can include:

• Maintain sales floor and stockroom standards, paying attention to detail
• Process sales transactions using a point of sale system
• Greet customers and help provide an outstanding shopping experience
• Stock or restock product on the sales floor or in the stockroom
• Help with inventory counts and audits of product on the sales floor or in the stockroom
• Make product recommendations based on observations and conversations with customers
