We are hiring dependable, hardworking movers and drivers for residential and commercial moving jobs throughout the Los Angeles area.
POSITION TYPE
Part-time, on-call work
Flexible scheduling based on job availability
Weekend availability preferred
PAY RATES
Helper (No Experience Required)
Starting at $18.50 per hour
Experienced Mover
Starting at $19.50 per hour
Driver (Air Brake Experience Required)
Starting at $21.50 per hour
Starting pay is based on experience, qualifications, reliability, and job performance
COMPENSATION
Every completed job includes a guaranteed minimum of 3 hours of pay
If a job takes less than 3 hours, you are still paid for 3 hours
If a job takes longer than 3 hours, you are paid for all hours worked
If you report to a scheduled job and it is canceled or cut short, you will receive reporting-time pay
Jobs located more than 40 miles from ZIP code 90007 qualify for an additional paid hour
Additional compensation is available for certain travel, specialty moving, heavy-item, stair-carry, or elevator-related services
ADDITIONAL EARNINGS
70% of eligible heavy-item, stair-carry, and elevator fees are paid to the moving crew
These fees are divided equally among crew members assigned to the job
Movers keep 100% of customer tips
PAY SCHEDULE
Pay is issued weekly, every Monday after 3:00 PM, for the prior workweek
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to safely lift and carry 50+ pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Must be dependable, punctual, and physically capable of performing moving work
Weekend availability is preferred
Driver applicants must have a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle and verifiable air brake experience
