Commercial Float Lab chamber personally built and installed by Float Lab founder Crash Hoefler. Extremely low private use — fewer than approximately 20 floats since Crash personally reassembled/refurbished it at its current location.
If you know Float Lab, you know this is in an entirely different category from the typical residential float pod.
This is an authentic commercial Float Lab sensory deprivation chamber that Crash personally built and installed for me. Crash was originally a marketing client of mine and became a longtime personal friend.
The chamber was designed as commercial equipment but was installed by Crash in the master bedroom of my Hollywood Hills condo, demonstrating the advantage of its modular construction.
Approximate dimensions:
Chamber: 8' L × 4' W × 7' H
Overall space including external pump/filtration equipment: approximately 10' long.
COMMERCIAL FLOAT LAB SYSTEM
Features associated with this chamber include:
• 3½" thick insulated modular panels for temperature and sound isolation
• Steel cam-lock modular construction designed for disassembly and reassembly
• Heavy-duty inset door with magnetic gasket
• 35-mil double-welded non-toxic vinyl liner
• Heavy-duty high-head pump
• Commercial cartridge filtration
• UV sanitation
• Ozone generator/injection system
• Automated sanitizer dosing system
• Ultra-quiet 5-liter O₂ concentrator
• Ventilation system
• 600-watt heating system
• Solid-state temperature controls
• GFI-protected electrical/control system
• 110V/220V capability
• 2" Schedule 80 plumbing
• Dual skimmers
• Insulated EVA floor pads
• Hydrometer
A standard chamber uses approximately 800 lbs. of Epsom salt.
EXTREMELY LOW USE
Since Crash personally reassembled/refurbished the chamber at its present location, I estimate it has been floated in fewer than 20 times. The pumps and related equipment therefore have extremely low operating hours compared with equipment from a working commercial float center.
IMPORTANT — LINER / RELOCATION
The chamber is currently fully assembled. The existing liner has little to no physical damage, but because of its age and the upcoming disassembly/relocation, I recommend installing a new liner and filters when the chamber is reassembled.
Buyer is responsible for disassembly, transportation and reinstallation.
Ideal for an existing float center, wellness/recovery center, biohacking facility, luxury spa, sports-recovery business, high-end residence, or entrepreneur opening a flotation business.
This isn't simply a used float tank. It's a Crash Hoefler-built commercial Float Lab chamber.
