We are seeking an experienced scare actor to portray a zombie, ghoul, mummy, or similar frightening character at a formal Halloween event in the Los Angeles area.
Date: Friday, October 16, 2026
Time: 5:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Pay: $75 per hour ($187.50 total), or you may submit a quote
Location: Los Angeles area
You will interact with guests, pose for photographs, and remain in character throughout the event. You must be dependable, professional, comfortable engaging with teenagers and adults, and able to create a genuinely spooky—but event-appropriate—experience.
Applicants must provide:
- Professional scare-acting or haunted-attraction experience
- A résumé or list of previous scare-acting work
- References or recommendations
- Recent photos of you performing in costume
-You must provide your own costume and makeup
- Your phone number and availability on October 16
Please do not apply if you have never worked as a scare actor or performed in a haunted attraction. We are looking for an experienced professional, not someone trying scare acting for the first time.
To be considered, please reply with the requested materials, your preferred character, and any questions you may have.
