Director casting a visceral opening sequence for an independent documentary feature about death and how we relate to it.
Looking for real people/crews who push limits and do things that make normal people sweat - who “defy death” so to speak.
Not looking for actors doing an audition. We’re looking for authentic individuals, subcultures, or underground performers who already live on the edge and are open to their life captured.
Open to a wide range of intense, visual acts. No world or topic is off the table. A few examples:
- Extreme motorsports / high-stakes driving / drift
- Fire breathing, body suspension, or extreme body performance that is high risk
-Jobs that are extremely dangerous and result in fatalities (and have permission to film said job from employers / locations)
- Full-contact underground combat / heavy martial arts
- Urban exploration / extreme heights / rooftops
- Aggressive downhill skate / high-speed action
- Unique, high-octane underground party or counterculture scenes
