Location: Remote, supporting our Los Angeles team
Schedule: 25–29 hours per week
Compensation: $23-26 per hour
Employment type: Part-time
A strong schedule helps a child get the support they need, gives a family consistency, and keeps a trainer working.
At Potential On The Rise, we help children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities build independence, communication, and social skills. We’re looking for an experienced scheduler who can keep those services moving.
If you have scheduled services for an ABA company and enjoy solving problems, following up, and bringing order to a busy day, we want to hear from you.
ABOUT THE POSITION
You will coordinate recurring adaptive skills and social skills sessions for families and trainers across Los Angeles.
Our services take place in clients’ homes and community settings. Scheduling requires matching availability, location, travel time, and service needs.
This is an active coordination role involving calls, messages, scheduling software, and close communication with our operations team.

• Build and maintain recurring client and trainer schedules.
• Confirm availability with families and staff.
• Respond to cancellations, call-outs, and schedule changes.
• Find appropriate coverage and offer makeup sessions.
• Help fill open trainer hours and gaps in client schedules.
• Consider travel time between appointments.
• Check approved service hours and scheduling instructions before booking.
• Update schedules accurately and communicate changes promptly.
• Document outreach, responses, and next steps.
• Flag unresolved issues and follow through until they are resolved.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous experience scheduling services for an ABA provider.
• Ability to manage multiple families, staff members, and changing schedules.
• Clear, professional communication by phone, text, and email.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
• Comfort learning scheduling software and using Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
• Patience with families and a calm approach when plans change.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team.
Experience with Passage Health and Spanish-language skills are a plus.
REMOTE WORK EXPECTATIONS
• Reliable internet and a computer capable of running our work systems.
• A quiet, private workspace for calls and confidential information.
• Consistent availability during agreed Pacific Time work hours.
• Availability to answer calls, respond to messages, and coordinate changes throughout your shift.
This position is 25–29 hours per week. We will discuss the specific schedule during the interview. Work must be completed during assigned shifts because families and staff need timely responses.
YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF…
When a session is canceled, you look for the next workable option.

Before confirming an appointment, you check that the details work for everyone involved.
You understand that behind every calendar entry is a family counting on us.
