SoCal car for its entire life comes with clean title, current smog check, and registration good until July 2027! The paint code 702/Smoke Silver is original and has held up incredibly well. I’ve always garaged the car in my years of ownership. This wagon is powered by the 3.2-liter M104 inline-six engine, with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Everything is sorted and in excellent working condition. I have kept all the printed maintenance records and documentation for the work I’ve performed on the vehicle in a binder. I replaced the original wire harness with a brand new one purchased from Germany (Kurth Classics), replaced all the fuses, new head gasket and a new cylinder head has been installed, making this classic pretty bulletproof. The car/engine stays cool. In my years of ownership I’ve also replaced the ratiator and hoses, water pump, installed a new blower and climate control module (so the heat and AC is working flawlessly), driver and passenger window regulators have been replaced, new alternator, installed an original Mercedes radio which has a Bluetooth receiver and microphone connected to it so you can stream audio as well as use hands free phone capabilities. The wagon is sitting on the original 15” 8-hole alloys fitted with matching Continental tires that have at least 80% wear left on them. Power adjustable drivers seat with memory settings works as it should. The drivers seat shows wear, but the rest of the seats (including the 2 rear facing fold out seats in the trunk) are in barely used condition. This is not a show car, but wears its patina with pride, and most importantly it’s in excellent mechanical condition.
I have enjoyed it as a Sunday driver and for the occasional school run. It’s in excellent shape, very usable, and drives with power and confidence, ready for many more years and miles of enjoyment. Comes with 3 keys, the clear title (in my name), and a. Current, valid smog check.
