Recently, I moved back home to be closer to my aging parents. They’re still independent, but I’m also helping to look after them. While I’m grateful to be there for them, I’ve found myself feeling a little stuck and isolated at home. I really need something of my own again—a reason to get out of the house, be around other people, contribute, and feel productive.
I’ve been trying to find my way back into the workforce, and it has been difficult.
My professional background is in graphic design, but I’m very open to doing something different. I’m willing to learn, work hard, help where I’m needed. I’m open to creative work, assisting in an office, or even doing something completely outside my previous career.
