Looking for Furnished Private Room or Small Guesthouse in SE Portland — Hawthorne Area
Hello, Portland! 🌿
I’ll be visiting from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and am looking for a comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced place to stay from November 3 to November 17 (14 nights).
I’m hoping to find a fully furnished private room or small guesthouse, garden or basement suite, or studio, preferably in Southeast Portland near SE Hawthorne Boulevard, particularly around Sunnyside or Richmond, with convenient access to public transit.
From what I’ve seen, this looks like a fun, colourful, and wonderfully eclectic part of Portland — very much my kind of place!
What I’m looking for:
* A private, fully furnished bedroom with a queen-size bed
* Bedding provided: clean sheets, pillowcases, blankets or a duvet, and pillows
* Bathroom towels provided for the duration of my stay
* A private bathroom preferred, though I’m open to sharing if the space is a good fit
* Convenient access to Hawthorne Boulevard and public transit
* A clean, peaceful place in a safe and pleasant neighbourhood
I’m looking for a place that is ready to move into, with the bed made up and all essential bedding and towels supplied. I won’t be bringing my own sheets, blankets, or bath towels, so please let me know exactly what is provided.
Nothing fancy or luxurious — just a clean, comfortable, well-equipped place at a reasonable price.
My budget: US$700 maximum for the entire 14-night stay, including all taxes and fees.
A little about me:
I’m a mature, quiet, thoughtful, and independent woman. I’m a nonsmoker and very tidy, and I value honesty, integrity, and mutual respect.
I’m looking forward to exploring Portland through photography, cafés, vintage and thrift shops, art galleries, and the many creative corners of the city — and, of course, meeting people along the way.
I’m simply looking for a safe, peaceful, and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day.

5. Towels: Confirmation that clean bathroom towels are supplied for the duration of my stay.
6. Bathroom and kitchen: Whether the bathroom is private or shared, and whether kitchen access is available.
7. Household: If the accommodation is in your home, how many people live there.
8. Total cost: The exact price for all 14 nights, including all taxes and fees, with no additional mandatory charges.
