Seeking a Quiet Place to Pitch a Tent (Newnan / Coweta County Area)
Hello! My name is Ray, and I'm looking to rent a small, quiet place to pitch a tent for approximately 2–3 months while I save for permanent housing.
A little about me:
- 50 years old
- Employed full-time in Newnan with a steady weekday schedule
- Non-smoker
- Drug-free
- No pets
- It's just me
I'm intentionally looking for a simple camping arrangement so I can keep my expenses low while I work and save toward permanent housing. I enjoy being outdoors and would much rather stay in a peaceful natural setting than in a motel or crowded apartment during this transition.
I'm looking for someone with a little extra land—a farm, wooded acreage, or even a quiet corner of a larger property—who would be willing to rent a small campsite on a monthly basis.
I'm quiet, respectful, and keep my campsite clean. I don't party, I don't expect to have visitors, and I believe in treating someone else's property with the same respect I'd want shown to my own.
I'm very self-sufficient. I can shower at a 24-hour gym and normally use restroom facilities at work or the gym, so I would require very little from the property beyond a safe place to camp and park my vehicle.
Because I work full-time, I'll be away during the day on weekdays. I also plan to spend most weekends visiting family and friends, so the campsite will often be unoccupied.
Ideally, I'm looking for a quiet, secure place where I can leave my tent and camping equipment while I'm at work without worrying about them. If permitted, I'd also appreciate the option of having a small campfire or fire pit, provided it's safe, legal, and approved by the property owner.
I'm happy to pay a fair monthly rent, meet in person beforehand, provide employment verification, and answer any questions you may have.
