Hello, if you’re missing a gray cat and live in Longview off of Pacific Way, I have some very sad news for you.
I passed by its body on the road and moved it off to the side so it wouldn’t continue getting hit; I didn’t see a collar, it looked like a smaller gray cat. It looked like it was an immediate death, if that’s any consolation. Its body is currently on the church’s grass (Longview Methodist Church- sorry church workers)- I didn’t want to deprive anyone the opportunity to say goodbye and do a burial, but didn’t want it in the road either, so I just did that for now.
It was on Pacific Way, right after the church and Glenwood Dr if you’re headed toward town.
I’ve had cats my whole life and would want someone to at least move my baby off the road to end the post-mortem torture of continually getting run over by distracted drivers. And I figured if I didn’t move it, nobody else would. No animal deserves that. So sorry for you. It probably happened right at 9AM, Monday 7/6.
