I've got 10 years of performance experience under my belt, along with band management and all that goes into that. Last band ended a few years back, and I'm getting super antsy for a new one and get back on a stage and sing.
I was trained professionally in my early twenties, and my baritone low range extends all the way up into those '80s notes that David Coverdale hits, or Robert Plant, and lately my obsession is singing Cedric's wild lyrics and melodic, fluid voice through the The Mars Volta in the car for warmups, exercises and red light confused looks. De-Loused!
Ideally, I'd love something crazy and kinda psychedelic proggy like the Volta (you may have seen me trying to start a tribute), but I'm open to anything artsy, punky and dynamic like them. I don't have a rehearsal space, and I'd love to join in on some folks who already have some stuff in the works and going.
I can provide examples of my voice! I have a little home studio, and I'm finally getting around to recording demos vs just videos of old stage stuff to showcase my range and sound.
<3 looking for a band family, fun and happy to make music and wanting to go wherever it goes. If you want a long-haired, hippie-like-but-hard-rock-bangin' frontman with energy and crowd work (and professionalism), I'm your man! I never half-ass a show.
