We are looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking team members who enjoy hospitality and take pride in creating an exceptional experience for every guest.
### POSITION SUMMARY
The Host / Busser is an important part of our front-of-house team. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with seating, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and supporting servers and management throughout the shift.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, professional, attentive, and always willing to help the team wherever needed.
### HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
* Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
* Manage the host stand, reservations, and guest waitlist.
* Provide accurate wait-time estimates.
* Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
* Maintain awareness of table availability and dining-room flow.
* Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, bartenders, and management.
* Answer phones and assist guests with general questions.
* Keep the entrance and host stand clean, organized, and welcoming.
* Monitor guest needs and communicate concerns to management.
* Thank guests as they leave and encourage them to return.
* Assist the team with additional front-of-house duties as needed.
### BUSSER RESPONSIBILITIES
* Clear and clean tables promptly and professionally.
* Reset tables according to restaurant standards.
* Assist servers with water, silverware, plates, and other service needs.
* Assist with running food and beverages when needed.
* Keep dining rooms, patios, service areas, and stations clean and organized.
* Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant during service.
* Assist servers and other team members during busy periods.
* Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
* Follow all restaurant sanitation and food-safety procedures.
* Help create a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our guests.
