Bird’s Nest Auctions is looking for a reliable, friendly person to join our team as weekend auction pickup help.
Our online estate auctions take place throughout Southern New Hampshire and Northeastern Massachusetts. After an auction closes, buyers arrive during a scheduled pickup window to collect the items they’ve won. We’re looking for someone who can help our team keep those pickups organized, efficient, and pleasant for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting and checking in auction customers
- Locating and helping retrieve purchased items
- Helping carry and move items as needed
- Keeping pickup areas organized
- Directing customers to the correct pickup areas
- Double-checking orders to make sure customers receive the correct items
- Helping the team with setup and cleanup before and after pickups
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service
Schedule
This is a part-time, as-needed weekend position, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays from approximately 9:00 AM–1:15 PM. The number of available shifts will vary depending on our auction schedule.
Because our estate auctions take place at clients’ homes, the work location changes from week to week throughout Southern New Hampshire and occasionally Northeastern Massachusetts.

- Are organized and able to follow instructions
- Don’t mind working in garages, basements, barns, homes, and the occasional slightly chaotic estate-sale environment
- Are comfortable being on your feet for several hours and helping move household items
- Have reliable transportation to different job sites
Auction experience is not required. We’re happy to teach you how our pickup process works.
