I am a veteran guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who thrives at the intersection of Post-Punk, Dark Wave, Dream Pop, and Indie Rock. I am a serious player who has gigged, recorded, and played in a variety of original, tribute, and cover bands in my musical life as a guitar player, drummer, and bass player. Main influences include: The Smiths, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, The Drums, Black Marble, Death Cab for Cutie, The Sundays, Wild Nothing, Joy Division, CASTLEBEAT. Most recently I had an original Dark Wave/Synth Pop band and was lead guitar in a Smiths tribute band. I recently moved to the South Bay area of Los Angeles and am looking to join an established band or create something new, preferably as a guitar player. My style is an intricate Johnny Marr-esque rhythmic lead guitar with a keen ability to layer atmospheric Dream Pop and Dark Wave textures. I like to paint with a feather not a firehose (i.e. I don't do fast single note solo passages). I am highly reliable with a solid stage presence, professional attitude, and professional equipment. I feel I collaborate well, bringing a high level of creativity to both live and studio situations. I am a working professional with a day job, so I have limited time for casual jams.
