Thermal Press International designs and manufactures custom heat staking and heat sealing equipment used by leading medical device, electronics, automotive, and industrial manufacturers around the world.
This is more than a programming position. You'll work closely with engineering, production, and quality while helping improve manufacturing processes and supporting CMM inspection activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Create and optimize 2D and 3D CNC programs using Mastercam
• Program complex precision-machined components
• Support machinists with setup improvements and troubleshooting
• Develop setup sheets and manufacturing documentation
• Coordinate CMM inspection and quality verification
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and GD&T
• Drive continuous improvement throughout manufacturing
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience
• Strong Mastercam experience
• Experience creating 2D and 3D toolpaths
• Strong machining knowledge
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• CMM experience is a plus
