HELP WANTED: PART-TIME EVENING FACILITIES & CUSTODIAN TECHNICIAN
Temple Isaiah – Lexington, MA
Temple Isaiah is seeking a dependable, experienced part-time custodian to join our facilities team. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our congregation, staff, and visitors.
HOURS
Generally 4:00–10:00 p.m., approximately 2–3 days per week. Occasional weekend work may be requested for special events throughout the year.
PAY
$26 per hour, depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general cleaning and custodial duties throughout the building.
Set up and break down rooms for meetings, services, and special events.
Follow written instructions, floor plans, and event schedules.
Prepare and reset rooms as needed.
Work cooperatively with staff and respond to changing event needs.
Work independently and take responsibility for completing assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of relevant custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
Comfortable communicating by text and email.
Good customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Able to perform the physical requirements of custodial work.
Must have a reliable cell phone.
Available to start immediately.

CORI and SORI background checks are required.
Three reliable work references are required for consideration.
