Temple Isaiah is seeking a dependable, experienced part-time custodian to join our facilities team. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our congregation, staff, and visitors.
HOURS:
Generally 4:00–10:00 p.m., approximately 2–3 days per week. Occasional weekend work may be requested for special events throughout the year.
PAY:
$26 per hour or based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General cleaning and custodial duties throughout the building
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings, services, and special events
• Follow written instructions, floor plans, and event schedules
• Prepare and reset rooms as needed
• Work cooperatively with staff and respond to changing event needs
• Work independently and take responsibility for completing assigned tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Five years of relevant custodial or maintenance experience preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English
• Comfortable communicating by text and email
• Good customer-service and interpersonal skills
• Able to perform the physical requirements of custodial work
• Must have a reliable cell phone
• Background check required
• Available to start immediately
