Classic Alpine road bicycle. This bicycle features a Reynolds steel frame built by Albert Eisentraut, with Campagnolo components (brakes, wheel hubs, derailleur, crankset, etc.) and a Brooks saddle. I bought this bicycle at a NJ specialty bike shop in 1980. It's a beauty, but the time has come to let it go. Here's a bit of research on the Eisentraut connection: "While many early Alpine frames were sourced from British builders, GCS contracted renowned American builders in the late 1970s. Albert Eisentraut supplied GCS with private-labeled, custom-built Alpine Cycles frames during this era." $675 cash. If it's on CL it's still available. Thanks!
