1979 Cutlass Supreme Brougham, great base for restoration. Runs and drives, but has been prone to stalling recently due to old gas. Headlight dimmer and turn signals not working do to issues with steering column. Replacement with aftermarket steering column as appose to trying to source parts HIGHLY recommended. Power steering still in perfect condition, it is only the dimmer and signals that have ceased function. Has a rather new 305 V8 crate engine that was installed by previous owner. Likely less than 30,000 miles on the engine, runs like new and sounds great due to aftermarket exhaust system. Has original rally rims and almost every piece of chrome is accounted for. The only piece i am missing is a chrome plate where the front right door ends and the front right panel begins (shown in pictures.) Heat works but air conditioning does not. Unsure if the AC unit simply needs a recharge or if the unit itself is bad, never had the time to look into it. Rust damage on the rear left and rear right quarter panels were professionally restored, new metal welded in and primed. There is some rust damage near the right door's rear window, shown in pictures. There is also a dent in the roof where the roof meets the rear window trim, again documented with photos. Interior is in fair condition, especially the seats, though there is some minor damage to the headliner in the rear, and the plastic panels on the inside of the doors are a little worse for wear. Last i looked they do make replacements for these, and they're pretty cheep. Steering wheel and dash could use some restoring as well if you are going for full show car quality. I have dearly loved this car for all the years i have owned it, and the only reason i am selling it is because i currently lack the time and resources to restore it to the condition i desire. Please call, text, email, or leave a message. Hope to hear from you soon!
