Asahi/America is looking for a hands-on Fabrication Technician to build and assemble plastic piping systems and custom components at our Lawrence, MA facility. If you’re mechanically inclined, good with measurements, comfortable using tools, and like building things, we can teach you the rest.
What You Will Own.
You’ll cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate plastic components using saws, drills, routers, and other hand and power tools. You’ll work from drawings and measurements, check your work using tape measures and calipers, and perform some plumbing-style fitting and joining of piping systems. As your skills grow, you’ll take on more responsibility and work more independently.
What Separates You From The Rest.
You’re mechanically inclined, dependable, and confident reading a tape measure and working with dimensions. Experience in fabrication, plumbing, construction, mechanical assembly, or another hands-on trade is a plus—but a willingness to learn and attention to detail are just as important. Must be able to lift 30–40 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day.
