What’s the Job?
At Asahi/America, quality and reliability are at the center of everything we do. As a recognized leader in thermoplastic piping systems, valves, and fabricated components since 1971, we continue to grow through innovation, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Asahi/America is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to support the production of plastic valves, actuation systems, and custom component assemblies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a manufacturing environment. You’ll work with tools, components, and production documentation to help build high-quality products used in industrial applications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
What You Will Own.
In this role, you will retrieve and organize materials, components, and tools based on work orders and assembly drawings. You will assemble plastic butterfly valves, actuated valves, and custom component kits using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision equipment while following detailed instructions, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and torque specifications. Responsibilities may also include installing and testing electrical or pneumatic actuators, performing basic wiring and component alignment, labeling products, and ensuring assemblies meet quality and functional expectations.
What Separates You From The Rest.
You bring strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with hand tools, pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, gauges, and measuring equipment. You can follow assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, and written instructions with close attention to detail. Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production is highly valued, especially if you’ve worked with valves, fluid systems, electrical or pneumatic components, or custom assemblies. You’re dependable, safety conscious, organized, and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining consistent quality.
Why You’ll Love Working Here.
We offer $21–$24/hour plus bonus, Day One medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, a generous 401(k) company match with immediate vesting, and continuing education reimbursement.
