Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for storing, cooking, and helping to prepare nutritious high-quality food and a superb dining experience for residents at the community.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
• Assist in identifying food and supplies needed for the next week’s menus and report to the dining leadership team.
• Prepare meats for storage and portion control upon delivery; ensure proper handling, storage and labeling of all delivered foods and ingredients.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary kitchen
