A leading medical device manufacturer in Irvine is looking for Manufacturing/Assembly candidates to join their team. This position performs precision assembly of medical devices in a cleanroom environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with small parts, and able to follow detailed instructions while producing consistent, high-quality work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Perform precision assembly and manufacturing of medical device components.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA requirements.
• Work according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and department procedures.
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures.
• Inspect your own work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Learn new equipment, tools, and manufacturing processes.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent manufacturing experience required.
• Warehouse Experience preferred
• Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience working in an FDA, GMP, or ISO-regulated environment is a plus.
• 2+ years of medical device manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and equipment quickly.
• Ability to read and understand written manufacturing instructions in English.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work takes place in a cleanroom, laboratory, and warehouse environment.
• Work area is well-lit and ventilated with normal equipment and cleanroom noise.
• Position may require sitting or standing at a production workstation.
• Frequent walking and handling of products is required.
• May use a computer or keyboard for documentation and communication.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as applicable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands for handling and assembly.
• Ability to see small components and perform detailed work.
• Close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus are required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to wear required PPE while working in a cleanroom environment.
