OVERVIEW: The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by safely operating various machines and equipment, such as, but not limited to, Wire EDM, Mill, and/or similar equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operates CNC machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
· Properly and safely loads and unloads raw material in CNC machinery.
· Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
· Measures parts with measuring devices/instruments to meet tolerance requirements, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
· Maintains records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
· Inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and preventive maintenance.
· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, ISO regulations, and instructions.
· Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
