We are hiring an experienced, journeyman-level drywall finisher for commercial construction projects throughout the Lake Charles, Carlyss, Iowa & Sulphur areas.
ā ļø THIS IS NOT A HELPER OR ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION.
You must have REAL, hands-on professional drywall finishing experience and be able to work independently.
YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO:
ā Tape & bed drywall
ā Float joints and seams
ā Finish inside/outside corners
ā Install & finish corner bead
ā Apply multiple coats of mud
ā Sand and produce a smooth, paint-ready finish
ā Perform drywall repairs and blend patches
ā Complete Level 4 finishing
ā Level 5 experience is a PLUS
REQUIREMENTS:
šØ Professional drywall finishing experience
šļø Commercial construction experience preferred
š Reliable transportation to area jobsites
ā° Dependable attendance
šŖ Able to work independently without being trained on the trade
If your experience is primarily hanging drywall, general labor, or helping a finisher, this is NOT the position we're hiring for.
