C66-184 adjustable main jet ,main jet discharge tube.
The C66-184 is an adjustable main jet assembly where the internal tube extends past the taper.
It is commonly referenced as an upgrade or fix to eliminate on some carbs, a lean fuel condition, especially hesitation or surging in 38mm and 40mm Bendix/Zenith carburetors.
This popular upgrade, an adjustment range if you will, allows fine-tuning of the fuel mixture when standard fixed main jets fail to provide enough enrichment under load.
