Upcycled Decorative Frog đ¸ Childrenâs Clothes Tree
This unique item started life a little over 50 YEARS ago as a Winnie The Pooh âHunny Treeâ my sister and I got for Christmas đ
(see the last picture as reference for what it originally looked like (thankx Google!))
The years of use in our shared bathroom saw the original Tigger & Pooh get faded and chipped as well as the lettering on the base which was all but wiped out.
In 1995, I gave it a second life.
I cleaned it up, rebuilt, modified, and repainted it into the Frog đ¸ as a birthday gift for my then 3 year old nephew (see 4th pic of signed/dated detail)
Itâs held up remarkably well, save for the missing âfingerâ (see 3rd pic)
When I had my own children later, it found its way back into my hands, where it subsequently graced my kids bathroom.
My youngest is soon to turn 18, itâs time to pass this storied and wonderfully unique item onto another loving familyâs home!
