The project features a heavy real-time digital component, documenting the talent's live interaction with a growing audience of 38k+ followers as the endurance challenge unfolds
Independent production company seeking a tight, 4-person embedded field crew (2 Camera Operators and 2 Field PAs/Logistics Interns) for an upcoming, fast-paced action documentary project.
The doc tracks a massive, high-intensity mental and physical endurance feat: 900 waves surfed, 900,000 ft of climbing elevation, and 900 stand-up comedy shows.
We are looking to lock in crew members ASAP for a multi-environment shoot. You will be traveling with the production to local surf breaks, mountain climbing tracks, and live comedy venues.
COMPENSATION / PERKS:
• Full gas money / travel reimbursement
• All meals and food fully covered on shoot days
• Free entry to all comedy venues and shows
• Free surf sessions and professional climbing lessons on location
• IMDb / Screen Credit upon completion
ROLES AVAILABLE:
1. Camera Operators (2 Needed):
Must bring your own run-and-gun gear setup. We are shooting in a raw, gritty, cinema-vérité style (think The Last Dance or high-stakes sports/character docs). The subject is highly unpredictable and intense—you must be comfortable keeping the cameras rolling constantly, staying invisible, and capturing real-time chaos without breaking the frame or interrupting the process.
2. Field PAs / Logistics Interns (2 Needed):
You will be embedded on-camera as the subject's official support crew. Your main job is high-pressure logistical data tracking—using clipboards to count every single wave caught, log GPS climbing data, and time his comedy sets. Because the talent is erratic and demanding, you must be able to keep a completely straight face, follow rigid, intense instructions, and manage logistics under pressure without breaking focus.
TO APPLY:
Please reply with your name, phone number, location, which role you are applying for (Camera or Field PA), a quick sentence about your experience, and a link to your reel/portfolio if applying for camera. Must have reliable transportation.
