Hi! I’m a credentialed Elementary and Special Education teacher offering individualized private tutoring for students in the San Diego area and online.
I have more than a decade of experience in education and have worked with students across a wide range of abilities and learning needs. My approach is patient, encouraging, structured, and individualized to each student.
Academic support may include:
Reading & reading comprehension
Writing & written expression
Elementary/middle-school math
Homework support
Study skills & organization
Executive functioning & task initiation
ADHD-friendly learning strategies
Support for students with IEPs and learning differences
Building academic confidence and independence
I’m particularly comfortable working with students who may have struggled with traditional tutoring or who benefit from instruction being broken into smaller, manageable steps.
Grades: K–12
Rate: $75/hour
Location: San Diego area — library/public location, family home when appropriate, or online
I’m currently accepting a limited number of students for recurring weekly tutoring.
