Vintage Marantz 2270 Stereo Receiver serviced and recapped. Compare my asking price with what is out there on the auction site, and include the wood case in the price, see how little info is available to confirm actual condtion of units sold. Photos show upgrades and restoration during the recapping: extensive rebuild of all transistors and relay on power supply board, both main filter caps are Nichicon Gold Tune 10,000uF 63V (2) Power Amp boards with new matched gain first stage transistor pairs, metal film resistors where needed, tone control P450 board has new CGO NPO caps, preamp, phono amp recapped with Wima and Panasonic FC, polypropylene films installed. Failure prone 2SC458 transistors replaced where found, all corrosive glue removed. Dial lamps replaced with diffused LED fuse type, new dial vellum, dial pointer, function lamps. Adjustments were made and burn in performed for Amp bias and DC offset, power supply, phono bias balance.
