Frank Jr. Reinforcement, LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Payroll & Certified Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll, employee timesheets, certified payroll reporting, and related payroll compliance.
Fluent Spanish and English are required for this position because the employee will regularly communicate with Spanish-speaking field employees regarding payroll, timesheets, new-hire paperwork, and missing or incorrect information.
Primary Responsibilities
Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets each week
Enter and process weekly payroll accurately and on time
Verify regular and overtime hours
Communicate with Spanish-speaking field employees regarding payroll and timesheet questions
Maintain employee payroll records
Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports
Enter and maintain certified payroll information in LCPtracker
Review certified payroll for errors, discrepancies, and missing information before submission
Maintain project-specific payroll and wage information
Track employee classifications, hours, wage rates, and project assignments
Assist with prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon payroll requirements when applicable
Maintain organized payroll and certified payroll files
Follow up with field supervisors and employees regarding missing timesheets or information
Assist employees with completing new-hire paperwork when needed
Review applications and onboarding documents for missing or incomplete information
Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information
Assist management with payroll reports and related administrative duties
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish and English – required
Previous payroll experience required
Construction payroll experience strongly preferred
Certified payroll experience strongly preferred
LCPtracker experience preferred
Knowledge of prevailing wage/Davis-Bacon requirements is a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to meet strict weekly deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with field employees
Comfortable assisting employees who may need help understanding or completing paperwork
Must be dependable and able to work independently
Work Environment
This is an in-office position. Regular and dependable attendance is required. The person hired must be able to manage weekly deadlines and remain focused on payroll and compliance responsibilities during working hours.
Applicants with strong construction certified payroll and LCPtracker experience may be considered at a higher rate.
