2007 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible, Alloy Grey Metallic (very dark grey), black leather interior, optional side airbags, automatic transmission. Pony Package includes GT inspired suspension system, antilock brakes, all-speed traction control, 17 inch Mustang GT wheels & tires, rear spoiler, grille with fog lamps, free flowing exhaust.
114,000 miles. Straight body, no accidents, engine runs strong. Convertible top, A/C & heat work. I am the third owner. New suspension components when bought 5 years ago, rebuilt transmission 12 months ago, new Robbins convertible top 3 years ago, new Pirelli tires at 90,000 miles 4 years ago.
Issues:
1) driver’s side rear quarter window is stuck 2/3 of the way up. Ford no longer carries the replacement parts, you’ll have to find a mechanic that can rebuild the gears. I bought the car this way.
2) passenger side rear turn signal only blinks 1 of the 2 light bulbs, not a bulb issue since it illuminates for night driving, may need replacement taillight assembly from eBay
3) TPMS system doesn’t work. I got new TPMS sensors installed with new tires, but America’s Tire couldn’t get the system to reset, said it’s a ECM issue. Electronic tire gauge included with sale.
4) Seam in bottom cushion of driver’s seat is starting to separate.
5) Needs paint correction, probably wet sanding. This car was driven by my son while attending UC Merced, the house they rented had sprinklers that would spray on his car, the heat would evaporate the hard water drops leaving water spots on the sides of the car that could not be buffed out.
Kelly Blue Book lists private party sale value at $6450-$7750. In light of the above issues, I will take $5900. I strongly recommend a pre-purchase inspection at the mechanic of your choice, with whom I will cooperate. Please text only.
