The Literacy Coalition is plnning to offer 3 free 2 hour workshops for mothers taught by nurses and healthcare professionals. Dates have not been set but there will be only 10 slots available. Workshops are: 1. Label Logic, hands on practice with real medication packaging teaching dosage calculations, warning checks, expiration dates, etc; 2.Form Fear Buster, step by step guidance sing actual pediatric intack forms and Medicaid applications to build confidence; and 3. Telehealth Tech, guided set up helps mothers download patient portal apps, send direct messages to doctors, and check test results online.
