15-Year-Old Registered Thoroughbred Mare — Trades Preferred
Looking for the right home for our 15-year-old registered Thoroughbred mare. She’s 16 hands tall. She came off the track and was later used as a broodmare. She is extremely sweet, does great with groundwork, and gets along very well with other horses. She is up to date on shots and we do have her paperwork. She handles loud noises, vehicles, and going through water without issue. She does good on trail rides with other horses.
She has a possible blind eye and will need an experienced rider. She does not like to back up and will need continued work and consistency. When we got her, she was very stiff, so we had a massage therapist and chiropractor work with her to help loosen her up.
She is a good mare who simply needs more time and training than my sister and I can provide right now. We are more interested in a good trade than selling, but will consider $5,000 OBO. Experienced homes only. Serious inquiries welcome. I’m happy to answer any questions about her. — in Kalispell.
