I have pure breed, Icelandic sheep. Lamb born in the spring from march to april 2025. They got 1st immunizations. Are horned.
Icelandic have long double wool coat, mine are naturally horned & born with a short tail and are medium in size. They are almost as big as thier mothers. All different mother but same father. All but one lamb was from twin births.
All got 1st immunizations in spring & dewormed(early summer) as preventive.
No on-site butchering.
Very good for butchering or adding to your flock. Highly prefered of all lamb meat for the mildest flavor in lamb. Very mild tasting lamb meat.
They are hardy sheep, will eat everything (yep blackberries, ferns, holly, maples alders). They are Easier to contain then goats. Icelandic are known for their mild meat flavor, curly long locks, great mothers, good milk production, lamb independently. My Ram is from Golden Spires Herd he is a Grey & black color.
