Bootstrap Compost is seeking a sustainability-minded individual to join our team as a Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for the pickup of organic waste in residential, commercial, and event spaces. As well as, the delivery of organic products, gardening supplies, and food scrap receptacles. The position offers plenty of independence out on the road while serving our clients in various communities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct various client pickups
• Deliver compost and other organics
• Operate large vehicles such as cargo vans and full-size pickup trucks.
• Continue clear communication with the team
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (6+ years of driving experience required)
• Experience driving large vehicles strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to environmental sustainability and passion for making a positive impact.
