Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring Forklift operators in Jefferson, GA.
We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift safely and efficiently to ensure all products are loaded without damage. You must be responsible and have strong experience driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that materials and products are in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. This is a temp-to-hire position for people who show up on time and prove safety in loading and unloading.
1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4 PM - Pay $17.00/hr
2nd Shift: 4 PM - 2 AM - Pay $18.50/hr
Responsibilities
Must be punctual and ready to work.
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in the assigned places
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Transport raw materials to production workstations
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
Skills
Proven experience as a forklift operator
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
Excellent physical condition and coordination
Must pass a drug test and a background check
