I bought this car with about 29,000 miles and used it for Uber and Lyft for several years. It was regularly maintained throughout the time I owned it.
The original engine was replaced with a lower-mileage used engine that had approximately 59,000 miles on it when installed. I estimate that engine now has around 200,000 miles or less on it.
After the car passed 400,000 miles, I began having transmission problems and had the transmission rebuilt. The rebuilt transmission lasted approximately 40,000 miles before developing problems again. Before I stopped driving the car, it had become weak going uphill and will likely need transmission work.
Because I owned and drove the car for so many years, many replacement parts were purchased through AutoZone and O’Reilly Auto Parts, including parts that carried lifetime warranties.
The car has been sitting for approximately two years and is currently on Planned Non-Operation (PNO).
