About Our Practice
Fisher Chiropractic Irvine is an established, family-oriented corrective chiropractic practice. We work with patients who want to improve their mobility, function, posture, and ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs). Our approach emphasizes patient education, consistent treatment plans, and long-term functional improvement—not simply temporary symptom relief.
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, hands-on Physical Therapy Aide / Chiropractic Rehabilitation Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and wants a long-term professional home.
Responsibilities
• Assist the licensed treating provider with prescribed therapeutic exercises, stretching, mobility activities, and rehabilitation routines.
• Prepare, set up, and assist with therapeutic modalities according to office protocols and provider direction.
• Support patient care involving trigger-point techniques, soft-tissue work, manual therapy concepts, and neuromuscular re-education, within the duties legally permitted for an aide and under appropriate supervision.
• Document care accurately and promptly, including familiarity with SOAP-note structure and relevant treatment records.
• Educate and encourage patients regarding the importance of attending prescribed visits consistently and following their care plans, without making independent clinical decisions.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff; maintain treatment-area readiness, patient flow, cleanliness, and a professional environment.
• Work independently on assigned nonclinical tasks while following clinical instructions, scope limitations, and supervision requirements.
Qualifications
• Working familiarity with common rehabilitation modalities, therapeutic stretching, exercises, and patient instruction.
• Understanding of SOAP notes and accurate clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, dependability, initiative, and a patient-centered attitude.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and provider instructions consistently.
• Availability every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM is mandatory.
• Prior physical therapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, athletic training, or similar clinical support experience strongly preferred.
Preferred, but Not Required
• Experience with scoliosis, posture correction, or corrective-care protocols.
• Bilingual communication skills.
• Massage or soft-tissue therapy background, subject to applicable California licensing and scope-of-practice requirements.
• Experience with trigger-point work, manual techniques, and neuromuscular re-education concepts.
