We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing a wide range of manual tasks, assist with erosion control installation, and general labor tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment.
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others on site.
Support heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks like excavation or material transport.
Other job duties include:
- Erosion control installation and repairs
-Drainpipe installation
- Temporary fence installation
- Pumping water from job sites
- Street sweeping and site maintenance
- Weed abatement
- General construction labor tasks as needed
Experience
Prior construction site experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated learners.
Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment enhances your suitability for this role.
Outdoor work experience helps ensure comfort working in various weather conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence ensures a secure work environment for everyone involved.
Requirements:
· Valid California Driver’s License (REQUIRED)
· Clean DMV record
· Reliable transportation to work
· Must be reliable and show up on time
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Ability to work outdoors and lift 40+ lbs
· Must be able to work well with a team (a team player)
