We are looking for 2 to 3 experienced Class A CDL drivers for a no-touch, home daily position out of Indianapolis, IN. This is a local operation running within a 300-mile radius with a variety of work including relay loads, drop and hook, and local delivery routes. You are home every day and work a day cab on 53-foot dry van freight.
Pay depends on your shift:
- AM shift: $26.00/hr
- PM shift: $27.00/hr
Routes run Sunday through Saturday but you will not work all 7 days. Schedule varies by shift and route availability.
What the work looks like day to day:
- No-touch freight throughout
- Local and relay runs within a 300-mile radius
- Drop and hook work including HomeGoods trailer exchanges between Indianapolis and Brownsburg, IN
- Possible drop and hook runs to Evansville, IN
- Freight is FAK (freight all kinds) - dry van, no hazmat
Equipment:
- Day cab tractor
- 53-foot dry van trailer
Minimum requirements to be considered:
- 25 years of age or older
- 3 years of multi-state, all-season, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Medically qualified under DOT regulations (49 CFR 391.41)
- Able to complete a Physical Abilities Test
Driving record requirements:
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 36 months
- No more than 1 moving violation in the past 12 months
- No excessive speeding, improper lane change, following too closely, or disregarding a traffic control device resulting in an accident in the past 24 months
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 36 months
- No preventable accidents in the past 12 months
- No DUI or reckless driving in the past 5 years
- No license suspension for moving violations in the past 36 months
Dress code:
Pants and a work shirt or sleeved shirt - clean, in good condition, and appropriate for a warehouse environment. No offensive or inappropriate graphics. Steel-toe or composite-toe lace-up safety boots with ankle coverage required.
