The does available:
1.) Bred boer/kiko cross doe. This doe comes from my favorite line of does. Very maternal and hardy. She is bred to a large framed, polled, boer/kiko cross buck. Exposed beginning 8/15 for kids mid January. One of her teats has a small spur or split, it's hard to say currently how it will affect feeding kids, though it seems unlikely to cause major problems. She is dehorned. $500.
2.) 9 month old mostly Boer doe with a small percentage of Alpine in her. 1x1 clean teats, dehorned and has proven herself this summer keeping up with my kiko crosses in growth and parasite resistance. She is around 75 pounds now, she should be ready to breed by late fall or early next year. $425.
3.) I have one doe kid available for $300. She has one perfect teat and one fish teat. It is difficult to say how it might affect kids drinking. She is currently around 70 pounds and has horns.
The goats are used to electric net fencing, are bucket trained and used to livestock guardian dogs. The whole herd is clean tested for CAE and Johne's. The goats rotationally graze most of the year and get a small grain ration while young or late in pregnancy and lactation. The goal here is to breed low maintenance, low input goats.
