The atmosphere of the house is generally relaxed, respectful, and fairly quiet during the week. It’s a good fit for someone who takes work or school seriously, keeps shared spaces clean, and wants a comfortable place to come home to. We’re also close to the restaurants, bars, and nightlife in Montrose and Midtown.

Utilities are split evenly among the 8 housemates and are usually around $70–$100/month per person, depending on the season. That includes: electricity, water, gas, high-speed wireless internet. The house also has solar hot water panels, which help keep utility costs reasonable.
The house is especially convenient for people who study or work inside the Loop. It’s great for a students, researchers, medical workers, or young professionals who want to live close to campus or work and avoid a long suburban commute. Ideal roommates are financially stable, respectful in a shared living environment, reasonably clean and considerate, able to pass a background check. No pets, please.
