Width is 64 inches to the inside of the angle iron and the Flat part of the angle extends out to 70 inches ~ This is the part that would sit on the bed rails.

This is Very heavy and has huge amount of space and strength to Tie/Secure Items in your Truck
When it comes to the width it would be easy enough for a competent mechanic to shorten.
The Headboard part was removed years ago and put into a new Bed Rail System. You can custom build your own
If you own a Steel Dump Trailer and this is anywhere near the right width, this would be Awesome to have on its Bed Rails to secure Items to.
