The Hawaii Island Goat Dairy is looking for someone to help with our herd. We have morning and evening shifts available. Morning shift begins around 7 or 8am, evening shift begins around 4 or 5pm (somewhat flexible), and shifts take 2 to 3 hours depending on what needs to be done. Work includes feeding adult goats, bottle feeding kids, hand milking, moving goats, cleaning, and mucking stalls. Experience is not required, but must be comfortable working with animals. This work is physically demanding.

We also have a few kitchen shifts available in the afternoon working with cheese. These begin around 3 or 4pm and take several hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older
Large animal experience is a plus
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Self-motivated
Good at multitasking
Have an eye for cleanliness and organization
Safety conscious
Must have reliable transportation
Must be reliable and flexible
Willingness to learn
